Zverinets caves, duration: 3 hours Excursion to one of the most famous cave labyrinths of Kiev discovered late in the 19th century. This underground monk cemetery is 150 meters long and dates back to the 13th-16th centuries. It consists of three underground streets: "The Altar street", "The Unnamed street" and "The street of solitary burials". In the cave there is an old Rus church with wall inscriptions and Christian crosses images of the 13th century. You will see the remnants of the famous Zverinetsky fort and hear the history of Kiev fortress. You will also unveil some unknown pages from the history of Kiev such as Zverinetsky tragedy of 1918, more known as Kiev Hiroshima. Tour also takes you to the Troitsky monastery and then down the picturesque hills to the legendary Vydubetsky monastery founded by one of the sons of Yaroslav the Wise-Vsevolod in the 11th century.
